Stubborn Girl

Matt and I went up to Williamstown Saturday. We had a good time just hanging out. Peggy, Josh, Matt, and I went out to eat at Tampico...it was so yummy! Peggy found a Mother's Day card from Matt that really cracked me up. The inside read, "Mom, I love you because you buy me things like Game Boy games. I'll love you no matter what you buy me". Nice to see he hasn't changed a bit! haha! I keep teasing him about it! Before bedtime, Daddy and Madison played their favorite game. Sometimes when we lay down to go to sleep, Matt will put his hand on my belly and Madison will just push and wiggle and then Matt will push and poke her back. It's so funny because she'll play along as long as he does. It's too cute!

On Sunday, Peggy and Jennifer hosted a baby shower for Baby Madison. It was fun and we laughed so much! We played this Mad Lib game and I laughed so hard that I cried. If my story comes true, I'll have some pretty severe contractions in my hand which will let me know I'm in labor. Oh, and then I'll go to the bathroom and eat to try to distract myself from the pain! If Matt's story comes true, Madison will be delivered at Wal-Mart!

We went for our ultrasound this morning. Of course, Miss Madison was her stubborn self again. She wasn't really pressed up against the placenta like she usually is. Instead, she had both of her arms crossed in front of her face. Once she turned her head, but as soon as the tech tried to get a 3d shot of her she turned her face back toward her arms. We did get to see a little bit of her mouth and nose though. She kept puckering her lips (kind of like she was making kissy faces)! We also got to see her practicing her breathing! It was amazing!

After the ultrasound, we went over to the hospital to see Dr. Dawley. Everything is still going really well! Dr. Dawley did mention that Madison "is really down there"...haha. She's really dropped a lot in the last week or so...looks like our baby girl is moving into position. We can't wait to hold her!

It's cute that she's starting to play games! Lauren used to like that game with me, but she was most active when I was working...people could see her playing. Has Madison started doing any turns? Lauren used to completely change positions and it felt like she just flipped it my stomach - it's funny to watch. Glad things are going well - the 3D pics are cute, especially the one with the crossed ankles!
